This week (September 26 – October 2) is Invisible Illness Awareness Week. Invisible illness is all around us. More than likely, you knowsomeone who is battling a battle every day. Help raise awareness for invisible illnesses by starting conversations. The more you talk about it, the more awareness can take place. The more awareness that takes place, thebetter our chances of finding a cure and coming to a better understandingof the needs of patients who feel alone in their battles.

----- Day 9, Cushing’s Awareness Challenge 2016
By MaryO

Uh, Oh – I’m nearly a day late (and a dollar short?)…and I’m not yet sure what today’s topic will be.  I seem swamped by everything lately, waking up tired, napping, going to bed tired, waking up in the middle of the night, starting all over again…and I’m traveling this weekend, which makes everything more hectic and tiring. ----- Cushing's Awareness Challenge - Day 2
By MaryO

... me, it is not about giving all the dirty details.  It's about raising awareness, providing support to others with chronic illness,so they know they are not alone.  It's about the person reading this blog, that thinks they might have Cushing's, who might get help a little sooner than they would have without reading my story.  It's for friends and family, so they know what's going on in my life, with my health, withoutme having to tell the story over and over again...
