I wondered the same thing! But then I went back and looked, and my signature was up there, so I'm sure it still counts. That would be pretty crappy if it didn't...

I am sending out letters to my senators today--I hope it's not too late. If it is, they'll probably just think I'm a loon. Thank you all for all of your work...it's so important.

I've signed the petition, then sent an email to my close friends and loved ones, asking that they sign it and pass it on to THEIR friends and loved ones (which they have; I see my best friend's mother's, cousins', and aunt's signature on there, as well as a friend's husband's signature). I also posted a bulletin on myspace about it (hey, it works; three of my friends on there have reposted the bulletin), and made my 365 days portrait for yesterday about Cushing's and signing the petition (which got at least one person to sign). I'm also thinking about printing out letters about it, with a link to the petition, and strategically "misplacing" them around my campus. I figure that I know enough people when it comes time to give them birthday presents and anniversary cards; they can sign a petition for me. Right?
