I'm also taking on CA state for In-Home Social Services. I was denied because the interverwer didn't even know what Cushing's was. Federal Law states that a person with cancer can not be denied In-Home care. I wouldn't even ask for the assistance except I can't perform housekeeping duties to maintain the home or property to be in safe condition for my and my children. How far can I go with this one? United States Dept. of Health & Human Services? Anyone have info to back my appeal with CA Dept. of Health and Human Services?

I'm gonna ask my mother for some ideas. She's worked with the United Way, Apronstrings(Grandparents raising grandchildren), and other charity groups. She may have some good ideas. She is very resourseful. She researched her ansestory to become a member of DAR(Daughters of the American Revolution). It might even help her with the feeling of being helpless to do anything for me, like all mothers feel.

Wrist bands are very popular right now. Have you seen the news about the braclets for anorexics and bulimics, red for anorexic and blue for bulimia. Just need to be careful that people don't take things wrong.
