I stumbled across this forum researching possible diagnosis for my daughter. I am starting to suspect she may have cushings. Her only real symptom is rapid weight gain. She was born a normal weight, 8 lbs. From there she took off and has never slowed down. She was 33 lbs at her 12 month check up. At 14 months, after becoming mobile for two months, she is now 37.5 lbs. She and her four year old brother weigh the same. And what really gets me is she doesn't really eat that much.
I am at a loss, and I appreciated any advice. What else should I look for, does this rapid weight gain sound like cushings?
