Ultrasound Results
So, I went back to the doctor today because my ear is hurting really bad and to get the results of my ultrasounds. I found out I have swimmers ear which isn't so bad b/c I thought I had ruptured my eardrum(that is how bad it hurt). Luckily it was just the swimmers ear. He prescribed some ear drops for this so it should clear up soon and I should be able to hear again!
I found out the results of my ultrasounds were an enlarged liver and an enlarged uterus. He is doing bloodwork on my liver and I should find out the results of this later on this week or beginning of next week. As for the enlarged uterus; he is referring me to a gyno, so I have no idea when I will find out about that. He asked if I could be pregnant; I told him my tubes were tied so the odds aren't in my favor, but I bought a pregnancy test just to check. I am late, only about 6 days or so. I want to be pregnant, but I'm not going to get my hopes up just to have them smashed down. I am really concerned about my enlarged liver. I have no idea what this could be nor do I want to know really. It kinda scares me to think I could have something seriously wrong with me. I do have to admit that when I was younger even up until a few months ago; I binge drink when I do drink. I haven't drank at all since I started having all this pain and I have vowed to never drink again. I really don't like drinking anyways. I used to love it when I was younger. Just get drunk and forget about my problems but it seems now as if those days are now causing me more problems than what they were worth. I wish I could take it all back, but unfortunately that is not how life works. I can only learn from my mistakes and make the best out of whatever is happening with my body. I hope it is nothing serious, but it seems everything I have read about an enlarged liver is serious. I guess we'll see. If anyone has any ideas as to what this could be; please share with me. Thank you so much for reading my blog and God Bless!
