  1. Hello, I'm new to this, hope I am doing it right. I had been very sick for about 5 years when the doctors finally diagonosed Cushings Disease. It was a tumour on my left adrenal gland. The surgeon said the tumour was completely wrapped around the gland and he took both the tumour and the gland out completely. Anyway I was feeling pretty much about 85-90% recovered 2 years on, when just recently some of the old familiar Cushings disese symptoms started coming back. The doctors have done tests and tell me it is my left Adrenal gland. Again! But it isn't even there. They say maybe some cells of the tumour were left behind. I am now awaiting further tests and a surgery date. I'm wondering, has anyone else out there had an adrenal gland removed, and then had a new tumour it the same place? And how many times? I'm wondering if this is going to keep happening over and over. And does it mean the surgeon didn't do his job properly? I'd like to hear what other people have experienced. Thank you everyone who responds, Bonny
