I'd like to know, too. It sure would be helpful.

William Bradford. It's my mom's dad's side of the family. That's too bad it doesn't have that function -- perhaps if enough people contacted them about it, it would be added. Do they have a map option where you can see the world and dots of the places where you have records of? That is something that would be fun to see. I found two different sets of families that lived in the same town. I'm mad I got into it after some key family members had passed away. They would have known a lot of information that would help a lot.

I have found Genealogy very addicting! After my kids came, I just don't have much time to work on it. I had several versions of FTM. My DH bought me a newer version last year, but I have yet to work with it. I've been wanting to join Ancestry.com. Do you like the format as well as FTM was. I hope I can just transfer the files instead of typing it all in again. Now that my kids are a little bit older, I might have more time to get back into it. That is so cool that you found a link to Dr. Cushings! Small world! I love the desk! I'm a Mayflower descendant myself. I haven't regi

Oooooh, only a couple months -- that's awesome! Keep us updated when you get it done. Is it only going to be for his patients? -
I had an addiction to Coke -- regular coke or diet coke or coke zero. I started drinking a bit of Chrystal light pink lemonade sprinkled in my ice water -- it's still aspertame, but I use very little. I also found a great sugar-free flavored creamer for my coffee, which coffee sometimes bothers my reflux, but I love it. I don't know if it is aspertame or splenda. I'd have to look. It's carmel flavored, yum. Also, a bit of cinnamon in my coffee grounds is good and doesn't need any flavoring. I'm looking for an awesome hot tea, without that strong tea flavor --lol. I'm not sure if a

Why isn't there an easier way to test? This just complicates things if there are false negatives for high cbg and now the receptor issue. I can't wait to hear how the hair study will play in testing in the future. I really hope it was found reliable. Years of testing for this disease for people just is rediculous, not to mention the endiots writing it off too soon.

DebraC replied to MelissaTX's topic in News Items and Research
I am also interested in this as I my father was a Vietnam vet before I was born. He has had colon cancer, type 2 diabetes, and hypothyroid, along with heart attack, and multiple bypasses all at a very young age.- 13 replies

Very interesting, thank you. I never heard about the food types. I don't usually crave sweet or salty, but I do crave sour and citrus. Strange, I know.

Two and a half men was one I was thinking, but I was thinking the actress who plays Berta Also, Roseanne, Carnie Wilson, Kathy Bates? I also thought of Kirsty, too. There's a few more I can't think of right now.

Interesting. There are maybe more celebrities than we realize. I think there are probably some celebrities that have it and don't know it. I can't help myself but to look at actors when I watch tv now and wonder. Anyone else look for the hump while watching tv? Or am I just obsessed?
