I got a letter in the mail today saying my low dex test came back normal. It also said that my endo doesnt think i have cushings if thats true, then why do i have alot of the symptoms, my endo doesnt know what he is talking about.

Hi, Blondie899. My low dex test came back normal, too. That doesn't mean anything. Have you had an 8:00 a.m. blood draw to test for Cortisol? Did your endo run any 24-hour urine tests for free cortisol? I was high on the urine cortisol tests for over a year before it finally showed up in my blood. I didn't suppress until the high dex test. It wasn't until I went through an IPSS that we tracked the source to a pituitary tumor. All of this "testing" takes a really long ...

Mine also came back normal..its very frustrating that this disease and its testing is in like a stone age era. I get so upset when they call me with test results and its normal meanwhile you have all the freakin symptoms!!

hope you feel better. I know I have been hearing the same line but it's so frustrating to be sick and not know what you exactly have but know that its there, and have people tell you to feel better when you really wish that could just happen but doesnt at times. But it will in time. This website seems to be helping the success stories and information help a lot.
