Over 2000 Posts Kristy Posted April 18, 2002 Over 2000 Posts Report Share Posted April 18, 2002 What I found interesting is the clearly identified importance of elevations of cortisol in the bloodstream and its effects on cognitive function and the effects on the bone. In pregnancy, It really underscores the underlying stress process cause early delivery and poor brain development in the fetus. Thanks for sharing Sandy! I hope Dr. Berga continues her research! Guest Pattie
I haven't had a period since Sep 1999. Saw an ob'gyn who didn't think much was amiss (even ordered apreg test) haha. It made sense after dx with Cushings. Now I trult want to be put into "menopause" so that I never get it again lol.
