I like the conclusion. Can't copy it but basically it says that a normal UFC or salivary isn't enough to rule out Cushing's, it takes many of these test for a diagnosis.

YEA!!!! It's in writing.

Only wish the dang doctors would read this stuff. Kind of stinky when the people who read it are the patients... Sorry I'm in a bad mood tonight. Just too tired to do anything.

VERY interesting article. Thanks for sharing!

What I found interesting is that most of them did not have super high midnight cortisol serums, yet none of them went below 1.1 at midnight. Several went way down there, but never below 1. Some of those same people, never even reached a 7.5 that is said to be diagnostic at midnight on the serums.

Holy salivaries Robin,

Excellent paper. Thanks so much...wish I'd seen it this morning before I went to my GP doc...trying to explain the shortcomings of limited urine and rapid cycling and get the guy to understand that I have as much chance of getting a high UFC as being struck by lightning.....difficult task.

Ihave printed four copies....one for my file, one for GP, one for endo, one for insurers in the hope that they may order some for me in an attempt to save money by re-doing useless UFCs.

Thanks again

Batman.
