They're a national, non-profit group that assists seriously ill people who are having problems with medical insurance, employment issues, and debt crisis. They don't actually give financial help, they give advice on how to handle situations and in some case can actually negotiate with certain creditors like mortgage companies, banks, utility companies, etc. ? I just got off the phone with one of their case managers, a very nice woman who gave me lots of information for my particular situation. I'm sure they could be of help to others as well.
