Guest terry jackon1
Understanding menopause Hot flashes. Fuzzy brain. Dry skin. Bloating. Mood swings and irritability. They?re all classic symptoms of menopause and a common reason doctors prescribe women hormone replacement therapy. But just as each woman must discuss with her doctor whether to take HRT to ease those symptoms, each woman?s symptoms vary as well. For a further examination of menopause and HRT, Your Health wants to hear from menopausal and post-menopausal women about the range and severity of their symptoms. Was menopause worse or better than you expected? Did you sail through with just a hot flash or two? Were you debilitated by mood swings? Or were you somewhere in between? Also, if you?ve taken HRT, did it ease the symptoms? Will you continue on the drugs in light of this week?s national announcement about the medical risks?
