This article makes me seem to think that maybe the Parlodel I am on could be the reason, my one 24 hour urine was normal and the one blood test was only mildly elevated.

Here is the article!

A case of Cushing's disease successfully treated with bromocriptine.

Sumiya N, Hiramatsu K, Arimori S.

Department of Internal Medicine, Tokai University School of Medicine, Isehara, Japan.

A case of Cushing's disease is reported. The administration of bromocriptine was extremely effective in reducing excessive adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) and cortisol in the blood, which were previously not suppressed by 8 mg dexamethasone and persisted even after removal of the ACTH-producing adenoma in the hypophysis.

Mary O,

Thanks, I do appreciate you posting this for me. I just thought if anyone else was on this type of med, maybe it could interfer with the both the blood and 24 hour urine tests as well as the acth tests.

I appreciate you posting this for me.
