Guest terry jackon1
Found a long article that just about tells you everything you generally need to know about steroids. Nicely written and easy to understand. 1. Go to InteliHealth (search) 2. Go to Search: Adrenal Glands 3. Go down to: Article 5) Corticosteroids Glucocorticoid Effects Why isn't this a report something every Internist, & General Practitioner has to read; keep in his office; refer to it. They are so unfamiliar with so much of this information. And they are the ones who we need to get a referral from to see an Endo. They're are clueless. I'd like to send this report to about 7 GP's who dismisssed me as being pychotic; that I don't really have an allergic reaction (had for 25 years med reports to prove); only want to get a fix of prednisone because I'm addicted to itand I couldn't be that sick tapering quickly (it's not possible). How can we get these doctors to read this type of report?
