Well, its been two weeks on Fri., Feb. 19 since pituitary surgery... and I have to rejoice that I am virtually pain free! My last blog complained about muscle and joint pain... And, since my surgery on Feb. 5, I have had NO muscle or joint pain to speak of (other than the typical pain associated in the head and nose after transphenoidal surgery). I can only explain this as perhaps the hydrocortisone I am taking 4x a day, or maybe the adjustment of the hormone levels? Anyhow, my first appt. with the endocrinologist is tomorrow, the 19th. I am looking forward to hearing what the previous week's blood tests show, and pray that Im on the road to recovery!

Hello, fellow Cushies! I live in the upper midwest, where the weather has been less than tropical. Does anyone else have joint/muscle pain that seems to be much worse when the temp takes a dip or the wind is very cold? I feel like on days like this, the pain is so much worse! I am only 37, and really feel bad for all those folks who suffer from arthritis.
