  1. The things in the left column are "avatars" You can upload them through your Control Panel.

From another post on the Avatar board:

The hardest thing it to get it small enough. That space (I'm assuming that you mean the avitar space on the left side of each picture) is smaller than most people realize.

Here's info from LindaP on how to do that...

Go to the "my controls" section, click on the Album option under Invision Gallery and create an album. Then you can upload one of your photos to the album.

Next step is then to click on the "edit avatar settings" under "personal controls" (which is also on that same "my controls" page) and enter the URL where your photo is located in the gallery (Mary O had to help me with this step, but you may have an easier time of it than I did).

I really enjoy seeing everyone's pictures as well.

    More discussion: http://cushings.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=13352

If your images is somewhere like photobucket or another site, you can just enter the URL. Go to "My Controls" then click on "Edit Avitar Settings" under Personal Profile.

Then, it will show up with all your posts.

  3. Please remove your signature from your control panel and put it in a new topic in this area with your name as the title.

Then put the link to that post as your signature.

When you want to update your "signature" please do it as a reply to your first post.

The only thing that should now be in your signature are:

? Cushie Mom of Year Graphic (if any)

? Cushie Helper Graphic (if any)

? ONE signature graphic, if you want

? (Total of 3 or less graphics)

? A SHORT message - like a paragraph or less

? the link to the stuff you've removed and placed here.

Some people's signatures are getting way too long, some have a short post of just a line or 2 and a signature that scrolls over a page in length so I'm going to have to cut back on those.

Every time that someone reads those posts or a PM with the long signature, it costs bandwidth which equals more money.

I think - hope - that will cut down on the bandwidth and the amount of scrolling that goes on in each topic.

    Thank you!

  4. This was suggested in another topic.

Apparently, I could get a case of 100 but I don't know if that many people need them.

  5. I've just ordered 20 more of the LARGE awareness bands. As before, there will be a preorder special price of 5.00. After they arrive, the price will be 6.00. Shipping is a flat rate, no matter how many are ordered.

    http://cushings-info.com/zen/

You may preorder the LARGE Cushing's Awareness Silicone Bracelet/band now but it won't be shipped until August 7th, 2007.

The bracelets are pale blue with yellow debossed text. Debossing means that the letters of your phrase are molded into the silicone of the wristband and is not merely printed on the surface. These bands read ♥ Cushing's Awareness ♥ It's About Time! These LARGE bands are 8 3/8" around.

  6. Lorri, we have wristbands available already.

Until I went on vacation a few weeks ago, I had a storefront set up for people to order those. While I was away, the fees for the upcoming year came due. I was unable to check my email for 10 days so I didn't pay the fees and that site was suspended. I lost the store and the gallery of Cushie photos that was also on that server.

I am slowly but surely rebuilding the store and the gallery but both take time.

When the store is back online, it will be on the little menu on the top of the boards next to Cushie T-Shirts & More.

  7. Kathi, I can do the frames with no problem. They'd be in the same area as the T-shirts and such are now.

I'd love to have a ribbon, too, but the only places I've found to make them so far require a minimum of 250. I'd have to order those in advance and ship them from my home like I do with the bracelets. I'm not sure that 250 would sell, though and I'd lose (quite?) a bit of money on them.

If you know a place where there's a lower minimum order, please let me know and I'll look into it!

  8. Hi all,

I am trying to purchase the LAST LARGE blue band -- it says there is one left -- but then when I try to check out, it says that there is insufficient stock. I would like to buy this for myself as a 40th birthday present. Does anyone know if there is an extra one floating around? I can tell from the thread that no more large blue bands are getting ordered....(and I can't wear a medium)....

    Thanks,

    Kate

Kate, obviously I have it :) PM me your info and I'll send it to you.

Heike, the bumper sticker and hooded sweater don't exist...yet. What would you like for either to say/have on it?

  9. I'm down to the last 3 large wristbands ( http://www.cushings-interactive.com/oscommerce2/ ). I'm not sure if anyone is interested in the large size anymore.

I'd hate to order more and be stuck with them, BUT I don't want anyone to miss out if they do want them.

I have to order a minimum number and, of course, the more I order at a time, the cheaper the price.

The company also has these available:

    shell_necklace.jpg

    Coconut Shell Bracelets and Necklaces

Express yourself in a whole new way with our brand new Coconut Shell bracelets and necklaces! The strands are made from hemp with hand-crafted coconut shell. The coconut shell is one-of-a-kind because they are shaped and carved by hand. The bracelet is also reinforced with a leather strip on the top half of the bracelet. You don't need to worry if it is going to fit right or be the exact length that you want. Each has a very simple, smooth, and easy method to resize the bracelet or necklace. With both of these products you can design your own phrase or artwork to put on the coconut shell. Put a phrase, team logo, or whatever you want! Your imagination is the limit!

    Features:

    * Natural Hemp Material

    * Hand-crafted Coconut Shell

    * Adjustable Size (One size fits all!)

    * Customizable Design

Would anyone be interested in those? I would have to order a minimum of 20 of those.

By the way, just as postage went up for regular mail, the shipping is not 4.60 for US priority mail (first pound) :(

If you're interested in any/all of these, the poll is at the top of the thread or you can discuss it here :)

  10. CafePress (where all the stuff is) has these additional items. Any of the current images could be added to these, if anyone is interested:

    - Kids Dark T-shirt: black, navy, royal, red

    - Plus Size Scoop Neck T-shirt: white

    - Plus Size Scoop Neck Dark T-shirt: black

    - Plus Size V-neck T-shirt: white

    - Plus Size V-neck Dark T-shirt: black

  11. Ok, this is getting confusing! There are the Got Hump? Shirts now with just a ribbon. Those items start with The Cushie "Got Hump?" in the title.

The Cushie SURVIVOR ones have a ribbon on the back that says Cushie Survivor. Those items start with Cushie Survivor "Got Hump?" in the title.

There is a dog shirt, just in case, too :)

There are children's items available, too (none in the store yet) - anyone interested in those?

See everything at in the Cushie Store

  12. Looks like there's free shipping through Feb 14 of orders over $50 with code VDAYSHIP at checkout

    * Excludes Custom Postage. Only applies to orders with a United States shipping destination, totaling $50 or more before shipping. Cannot be combined with any other coupons or bulk order discounts. Valid through February 14, 2007, at 11:59 p.m. (PST)

The website gets a small percentage of every sale - about $.75 (75 cents), I think

Here's way more info that you wanted about shipping and how long it takes to get to various places: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/shipping.aspx#5.

I was looking for a list to see if there any exclusions for international shipping, but I don't see any list of countries. I guess the best way to find out would be to start an order and bail out just before the end. It would probably tell you then if a country was not allowed.

I don't think that they'd exclude the UK, though
