Hi to all, is anyone on the boards taking part in the SOM 230 trials. I would like to find out if anyone knows when the trials may be finished and the outcome advised.I have emailed the people conducting the trial but have not had any reply.

Can anybody help ?

Hi Renee, thanks for your post. I actually have a book that this lady has written

called " Living well with Hypothroidism what your doctor doesn't tell you that you need to know"

She covers so many things and it is very easy to understand.I borrowed the book from our local library and as it is such a good reference book I ordered one in from the U.S. as it was not in stock at the book shops.Well worth reading.

Thanks Rose Marie, very interesting.I believe that cushings is much more common than many of us are led to believe.As I am still very new to this site I am amazed at how many new cases have arrived on these boards since my first post  and how many more there may be if everyone was as fortunate as we are in having access to the internet.
