Finally starting to feel almost normal!

I think my cushings symptoms were caused by incredible stress, both physical and emotional... I cannot sleep well, but other than that, I am dong fairly well.

Actually, I was feeling on the upswing, but now, apparently in part due to my submerged stress, I have Shingles. Not looking forward to it... got on antivirals asap, but as for the stress... Yeah sure! ;-)

Shelley, I forgot to mention a condition called temporal arteritis, or giant cell arteritis. symptoms can include changes in vision, headaches, and generally feeling like being run over by a bus might feel better. The scary thing is that in this particular condition, if not treated - with massive long term prednisone up to 2 yrs- just something to look up an compare symptoms. neck and jaw pain,

MaryO, I am sorry to hear of your sorrow, and the loss of SuzieQ, your special friend. I am still afraid to read her story in case I learn of ever-more thiings to worry about.
