  1. Sharon, I miss you, please e-mail me, let me know how you are doing.

  2. I see you've been extra busy, dear MaryO. I'll have to explore everything. SENDING YOU EXTRA SPECIAL LOVE AND HOPES THAT YOU'RE GETTING E LOT OF CHOCOLATE AND CHINESE FOOD AS WELL AS ENJOYING YOUR PIANO AND IPAD. YOU ARE SO KIND!
  3. Dr. McCutcheon was asked to write this for ob/gyn doctors, but it has good information for all opf us. Here's the link: http://media.pituitary.org/newsletter/sep2008/whatsnew.htm If the link doesn't work, try pasting it. It's from the newsletter of the Piruitary Network Association.
  4. Howdy Sharon! Thanks so much again for the visit in Houston!

    love,

    melly

  5. Thanks for posting this. I was already familiar with it as researched the topic since Dr. Mc said my path. report stated I had it. Unfortunately, according to Dr. Mc it makes a cure for Cushing's unlikely which is another reason I had a BLA after my two pit surgeries. The pituitary surgeries remain important to remove any tumors that can be found. Take care, Robin dear! Big hugs!
  6. rOBIN, HON, THANKS FOR DOING THIS! Hopefully, it will point some listeners to take a needed step towards help. Hugs!
  7. Mary, dear, you are so good at finding research and articles that are helpful and may assist someone. Thank you, sweetie!
  8. God bless these kids! I hope the girl with Cushing's (and all the other kids too) have good docs. This was heartwarming. Thanks, dear MaryO!
  9. Sharon, you are a beautiful person and spirit. Love to you, Sallyt

  10. Thanks, sweetie! Good sites! Take care of yourself, Monica. Hugs
  11. Barb, thanks for the link, hon. It was kind of you to post it for us. The information is helpful to some degree but seems outdated, since now it is known that the CRH/dex test is more reliable than either the 1 mg or the 8 mg dex test. Also the 8 mg dex. test is sometimes used to differentiate between pseudo-Cushing's and Cushing's. As others have mentioned, salivary tests are now used too. I still thank you again, because it adds to the information to consider along with other research. That research is the first I've seen that explains the various possible locations of ectopic tumors and gives a percentage for occurrence. I have a dear friend dealing with her second ectopic tumor.
  12. WOW! That is soooo great! Millions of thanks to all who worked for that!
  13. Thanks for Dr. Bost's addy, Kristy. Cherri, great going! We're working for Cushing's Awareness, and they're spreading inaccurate, harmful information. ARGHHHHH!
  14. Thanks for the time and thought you put into those suggestions, Mary. They are good ideas, all of them. I don't know how to send an e-card. (not great with computers). When I clicked on your link, Mary, most of the page was white. My computer is having some problems right now, so it could be a difficulty just I am having. Sending thoughts of appreciation and also hugs!
  15. Mary, I copied the letter. TRhanks! Do you think it would help if there were a letter doctors could sign? Be kind to yourself!
